    I exchanged PMs with C&D head honcho Jeremy Reeves last September. Jeremy told me that, "We have been using Latakia produced in Turkey for about 1 year, and any product that we make that contains Latakia is made using that version."

    Overclocked Kaywoodie.

    I didn't want to mess around heating up stuff and moving the stinger or insert, so I applied some colorless fingernail polish on the face of the insert to thicken it up to stop the overclocking. It worked like a charm. I chose fingernail polish because it can be easily removed.

    The blends that made me think, "oh, that's something new," in a good way, when I first smoked them: 1792 because of the tonquin and DFK Ennerdale because of the Lakeland topping; and Crooner because of the deertongue.

    Yes, one of my two local B&Ms does not re-brand. It simply labels its bulks with the manufacturer's names. I rather like that shop better for doing that.

    So that they can pretend that they have the know-how to blend tobaccos. It's basically low level fraud. It also means you can't go to another shop to buy the same blend as the name is unique to the particular shop.
