    Unique Peterson - Identification Help

I think some of the 98 tricolor/st Patrick day pipes did not have the stamp. The 05 on pipe notes article doesn’t appear to have that stamping.

    Help Identify Pipemaker

I was thinking the same thing. Also the V looks like a chess piece a little. I’ve seen it before, but just can place it! And my memory is more focused on that rustication and color of stem for some reason… I’m hoping someone knows this one, I might have to get a set when OP finds out.

    Recognize This Marking?

Just bought this. Seller photos. Price was right and might make a good work pipe given its robustness. I can’t make out the marking if they are initials, or a foreign character/symbol. Thank you for looking.

    Early Dunhill Question Regarding COM

I think it’s the year for 1923, but typically that’s above the D in England.

    Early Dunhill Question Regarding COM

The Made In England with year suffix is missing in this one. Most others from this era (and most in general) have it. So I was I was wondering if the fact it was truly made in England (and not France) contributes to the COM absence.

    Early Dunhill Question Regarding COM

I have a nice bulldog coming in, and I’m trying to understand the stampings on it. Do you think there is no COM because of the DR marking? I think I read somewhere that DR were made in London vs the others (non DR) in France. So, i wonder if/how that affected COM stamping back then. In regards...

Interesting Completed Ebay Auctions - British Pipes

Can we post current eBay listing that are buy it now? There is one that I find interesting for discussion about its grain. “This is believed to be the most perfect specimen of straight grained briar ever made” on a plaque attached with the pipe.

    JT Cooke Announced His Retirement

I was just reading an interview with/about him the other day and tried reaching out to him for a pipe. I actually checked my email a few times today and yesterday in hopes to see a reply. I don’t think I’ll see one. Double darn.
