Help Me Select a Daily Smoke?

So, I’ve taken a liking to an aromatic. Appalachian Harvest by Ole Shenandoah. I love this tobacco. I could smoke it all day. But at 10 bucks a tin, it’s not cost effective. Any similar aromatics come in bulk? It doesn’t have to be premium taste but if it has a nice sweet taste and mellow finish...

    First Sampling of premium tobaccos

I received a package from p&c.com. And I’ve since been able to sample the blends. I sampled Antietam by Brigadier Black to trial as my daily blend. I enjoyed it and think it will be my go-to all day smoke for now. I tried 2 of Russ’ blends, tastykake and pirates cove. Pirates cove was nice, kind...

    My Pipe experience thus far

I acquired a MO Meerschaum as the start of my pipe collection. It’s the Washington, I believe, with a bent bit. I find it enough pipe to hold the smoke I want. I find it a good weight for clenching. Smoking has always been a part of my persona. Until now it’s been cigars and cigarettes. Im hard...

    Bit Style

Is there any technical relation to the bit style, or is it simply personal preference. I tend to go for the bent bit. Im exclusively using cobs at the moment. I'm carving a piece of 60 year old Walnut burl into a piece and am contemplating the stem design.

Blue Hen waves Hello from the First State

Hello from Sussex County Delaware. An oddly rural area amidst an otherwise endless array of suburbia and city. Along with the vastly forgot Eastern Shores of Maryland and Virginia, Sussex County might as well be Iowa cornfields on an island. We are placed on a peninsula nick named for the three...
