    Who Wants to Play?

Anger Management. Sounds about right, now that I think about it.

New Stem On This Bent Apple

You should definitely keep posting here! Nobody’s gate keeping, I hope. And we enjoy looking at pipes.

What's Your Favorite Pipe for Backpacking or Camping?

I do quite a bit of ultralight backpacking, and for me it’s either a cob with forever stem, or an army mount pipe.

    Nominate An Under-Appreciated Pipe Brand

I agree with @americaman, BriarWorks is the first brand I thought of when I saw the question. In my opinion they are generally superior to any other factory pipe at the same price point, and made in Columbia, Tennessee by some folks who are excellent artisan carvers in their own right.

    Memorial Day

RIP TSgt Justin Rivers, USAF RIP MSgt Chris Messer, USAF Gone but not forgotten.

    Three Favorite Female Singers

Brandi Carlile Dolly Parton Blossom Dearie

    Favorite Three Songwriters

Bob Dylan, Cole Porter, Tom T. Hall*. * Tom T. Hall basically gets in off the strength of "That's How I Got to Memphis" alone. One of the greatest songs of all time.

Where are We Flying to Today?

Ugh, there are so many “National ______ Day”s out there I can’t keep track, and very few are actually observed. It’s been trendy the past few years to come up with a dedicated day for whatever pet project (including IPSD).

If You Had to Choose Only One Tobacco

Oddly enough, that’s the only GL Pease blend I’ve tried (and I’ve tried most of them) which I didn’t care for. Just a little too much for me.

How Much do You Keep on Hand?

I mean, I do have a good job, but 50lbs of Cornell and Diehl bulk (for example) would only come to about $2,000. Spread that out over five years or so, and you’re looking at a dollar a day, more or less.

If You Had to Choose Only One Tobacco

I could easily have Three Friars for my only smoke, but just the last month or so Haddo’s has nudged it out.

If You Had to Choose Only One Tobacco

This is a recent change in my palate, but I’ve got to go with Haddo’s

    My Murf Pipe

Don't put your location in your profile, or ChasingEmbers will be showing up tomorrow with a wheelbarrow full of cash.

Is There a Tobacco you Seem to Like More Every Time you Smoke It?

Haddo's Delight. I liked it fine from the first time I tried it, but it's turned into basically the only thing I smoke lately.

    Ernest Hemingway's Pipe...

Yeah, that’s definitely Faulkner, not Papa.

Who Stirs His Tobacco Towards the End?

After I’ve finished 3/4 of the bowl or so, I’ll often dump most of the ash, and re-settle the remaining contents. A little stirring happens, but that’s not exactly my intent, more of a side-effect of leveling things off again.

A Heady Haze for My Man Cave?

You know they call it a "kilt" because that's what happened to the last fellow who called it a skirt.
  18. haparnold

A Heady Haze for My Man Cave?

Dude, chill out. Smoke your pipes normally and let the smell build up over time. This is like trying to color your meer without going through the normal process, but weirdly tying your sense of masculinity to it at the same time.

You are Guaranteed to get One Hard-to-get Blend. Which One would You Choose?

Gotta agree with @burleybreath here, it’s Craven all the way.
