    Oh, I'm happy to own it. I just meant that maybe it was a model that didn't do well and was removed from the catalog. I suppose "retired model" would have been better.

    The photos are from the listing. There are two distinct tails on the P. Kind of weird. Also, the model number stamped on the bottom is #8. I can't find any mention of that model in Peterson literature. I'm not saying it's not legit, just oddly absent. Was this a failed model?

    While not technically British, i don't know where else to post this. I purchased a pipe advertised as a Peterson from the 1950's on eBay. I don't recognize the "P" marooning on the stem. Has anyone seen this type of mark before...
