How to determine the age of this tin of Drew Estate, Gatsby Luxury Flake?

Ok, thanks. I guess I can just say it's from 2016. Pretty sure I bought it around 2016-2017 from P&C (who delete order information after two years).

    Opening A Tin? Show Us!

MB HH Burley Flake from 2018; perfect smokeability straight out of the tin. Not sure pipe smoking gets much better than this. Sadly, I have only one tin (2024) left after this.

How to determine the age of this tin of Drew Estate, Gatsby Luxury Flake?

I'm considering selling it and would therefore like to know the age. A quick Google search suggests that Drew Estate pipe tobacco was produced by STG from 2013 to 2017 or so which narrows it down. But there's not much information on the tin except for a bar code. I can't remember when I bought it.

Help Finding (and Understanding) Dark Virginia Pipe Tobacco

Like others have said, many of the Gawith blends are based on dark virginia. I'd add Dunhill dark flake to the list.

    Your Own "Worst" Tobacco

Cornell & Diehl, Captain Bob's Blend. Jesus, what an abomination -- the only tobacco I've ever thrown away.
