Never tried that. When I was younger I chewed Day's Work, Brown Mule, Beechnut, Red Man, and I was downright addicted to Copenhagen. All that stuff, except the snuff, has too much sugar to smoke in a pipe I think.- jimmy57

What Did Your Fathers and Grandfathers Smoke?
My father smoked Half & Half 99% of the time. He probably varied it some, but not enough for me to recall. My grandpa smoked Between the Acts little cigars, and an occasional White Owl or some such cigar. I began with Half & Half myself. A good thing to begin with.
