My local tobacconist stocks MB Golden Blend and Plumcake at R60.00/50gr (about $9.00)?! I guess I won't be trying their 7 Seas for some time?! But I'll ask him to talk to our local importers??

Serious question.Has pipe smoking changed with time?

I think it's important to remember too that in the 60's and 70's smoking, in general, was a far more acceptable practice than it is to-day!! I mean EVERYONE smoked!!! Rothman's and Peter Styversant were the BIG sponsors of sporting events!! Smoke products, good pipes and pipe tobacco, was...

    Tired of losing pipe nails....

Shame guys!!!! There is one bloke (and probably the only bloke around) that has a pipe tamping tool factory in the Czech Republic?!! Therefore let's, as pipe smokers, keep him in business and buy the real macoy?!

    Oh $&!? My pants

The art of pipe smoking requires slow, rythmic, and controlled SUCKING on the pipe!! You need to use your tamping tool regularly to tamp the tobacco down into the heel of your pipe?! This will keep your pipe burning right down to the last bit of tobacco!! SUCK don't BLOW!! Keep your pipe cool...

Best Type of Tobacco Pouch to have ??

I don't like the zipper type bags cause too much air passes through the zipper teeth and tends to dry out the tobacco on a hot day?! I much prefer the leather pouch with a latex or rubber lining?! Comments??
