Yes, the pipe cement was used to thicken the bottom of the burnt out bowl. It will become harder as I smoke and will eventually be indistinguishable from the naturally forming cake. Don't throw that old bunt out pipe away. After sanding the bowl down, I filled the hole in the bottom of the bowl with a mix of briar dust and glue. After drying I sanded flush, then stained and waxed. I do not smoke many cigars, so I went the way of purchasing pipe cement from...- jhannafin59

Can anyone help date this Dunhill?
I picked this Dunhill Root Briar up for thirty five dollars on Ebay because of the small hole in the bottom of the bowl. Who makes Winners Circle?
It was in an ebay lot of a dozen pipes that I got for a song. It wasn't a prince when I got it though. More like a frog. I had to kiss it for a long time with alot of elbow greese to turn it into the prince you see in the photos.- jhannafin59
