    How Do You Remove Rust?

By the time you add labor, materials dealing with HAZMAT, and disposal, it's probably cheaper to buy a new multitool.

    Fishing With Your Pipes

Took a pipe fishing once, and all I caught were a couple of old ugly codgers, released them as they aren't good for anything.

    Zippo Replacement Parts Help

I've sent a couple of lighters in for adjustment of hinges and the like, they were returned promptly with new inserts. Exchanging a regular for a pipe insert was easy peasy.

    "The Day The Clown Cried"

Exactly, there are few "celebrities" that once you get close enough are worthy of respect or emulation. Most have feet of clay or worse.

How Often do you Really Need to Clean your Pipe?

As a general practice, I suspect most pipe smokers do some level of cleaning after every bowl. Over the years we've seen many examples of used estate pipes that looked new and then those that never were subjected to a pipe cleaner, so much cake that only minuscule amounts of tobacco could be...

    Stolen or Style or Innovation

I think in most endeavors there are artisans/innovators and craftsmen/mechanics. There is free communication between these camps, each borrowing from the other. As to where Nording falls is immaterial to me, I have one of his pipes, and it smokes fine. Most of his stuff though is unappealing...

    I Can't Watch Anything.

I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so I'll limit my medical advice to the recommendation to the OP and others who feel they are living in fiction or disconnected from reality to seek professional assistance. There it is, worth what you paid for it.

What is Your Lighter of Choice?

Zippo, matches, Old Boy, Pipemaster, Dupont Ligne 2, Kiribi, Hemp Wick, Rollagas, Beattie, Crocs, Bic, Bic EZ Reach, occasionally a cigar lighter, and probably several others that I've forgotten about. I'll use just about anything capable of igniting tobacco that doesn't damage the pipe.

    Bad News From The UK!

From the thread title, I was expecting news of a total tobacco ban or the Peterson factory burned to the ground. I think we have different concepts of "bad" or "terrible" news. This ranks somewhere in the maybe interesting -- for a moment range.

    Commissioned Pipe Rack

I purchased a rack and a cabinet off of ETSY, very satisfied with the results and the maker was happy to make a few customizations as well.

    Tobacco Storage Cross Contamination

This is what I do for containers I am re-using. Most often these days it's a bail jar that I use over and over again for blends that were stored in a now-opened mylar bag. Mason jars and their lids can simply be run through a dishwasher cycle, I don't do that with bail jars as the dishwasher...

Old Codger All Day Smoking with One Pipe

IMO if your pipe is hot it's the result of smoking too fast, or to a lesser extent, your tobacco is not dry enough (the ember needs to be hotter to keep the tobacco lit).

    Quiet Nights Help...

I think QN is the best of its genre, no question hands down. Each of us reacts differently to blends, for example, I've tried some highly regarded blends that I find to be terrible. Life's too short to ponder why, too many factors interacting in complex ways to ever be completely sure. My...

    Hearing Problems?

As frequently as these types of threads (rotten teeth, cataracts, etc) pop up we need a sub-forum for medical issues.
