How to fill a pit?
I usually happily ignore minor sand pits in my inexpensive smooth pipes, but I've got a Peterson Aran that's bugging me. It's got two small - pinhead size or smaller - but very noticeable pits right at 12 o'clock on the rim and the front of the bowl. I've had the pipe for years and smoked it...- tppytel

Found an old tin of blending Perique - thoughts?
You may recall that I posted about mixing up a fresh batch of Cajun Half and Half (a VA/Bur/Per) a while back. I was cleaning out my office today and found that I apparently bought an extra tin of McClelland Blending Perique back when I mixed the last batch. Which would be... about 8 years ago...- tppytel

Decent lightly sweetened Burley for Cajun Half-and-Half?
Those of you who frequented alt.smokers.pipes back in the day may remember Stephen Williamson's Cajun Half-and-Half blend.
