Obsessed or just intensely interested?

How dry is too dry?
Can tobacco get too dry? I have an open tin of Nightcap that is bone dry but it seems to smoke better than when I opened it. Thoughts on whether I should rehydrate it a bit?- eusebius

Advice needed for packing
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and new to pipe smoking. I'm running into a problem of my tobacco not staying lit as it nears the quarter bottom of the bowl.
