    Adelaide Pipe Club?

Is there a pipe or smoking club in Adelaide, Australia? And if not, would anyone be interested in joining one if it was started?

    Corn Cob Question

I'm looking into making my own corn cob pipes, and I've read that you need to dry out the cob but I wasn't sure if you were supposed to remove the kernels of corn from the cob or if the dried kernels were part of the finished product. Does anyone know whether or not you should leave the kernels...

    Age problems in different places

I am 20. I live in canada where the age to smoke is 18, and I'm moving to australia where the age to smoke is also 18. But to get there I have to pass through the United States where I believe the age to have smoking paraphernalia is different. Will I have trouble getting my pipes (just...

    Hi I'm new

It's not a bad idea to inquire about exactly what type of wood they use. I see that it has oak accents on the sides, but the bowl itself might not be made of a very good wood. Doesn't hurt to message the seller and ask

Awful smell in a new pipe

I bought a brigham voyageur a few days ago. I've only smoked 2 bowls out of it and it already smells awful, like it's rusty and gone bad. I didn't treat it any differently than my other brigham, and I even tried scrubbing it out with everclear but it still smells very bad. Has anyone had this...

    Old Dominion Corn Cob Pipe

The other day I went out on a limb and bought an Old Dominion Cob pipe online. It hasn't arrived yet, but has anyone ever smoked one of these before? I don't know much about them and some feedback would be great.

    MM's hardwood pipes?

My very first pipe was an MM ozark hardwood. It was a great first impression and it's still used in my rotation a lot even though I've upgraded to much more expensive pipes. The break in was a little harsh but it has been a wonderful smoke after that.

    New Members, Introduce Yourself!

Hey fellow smokers! I'm 20 years old, and I live in Alberta, Canada. I've been smoking pipes for nearly 6 months now, and I love it. I bought my first pipe a few weeks before halloween, a Missouri Meerschaum Ozark Mountain pipe, as a part of a Sherlock Holmes costume. I decided to learn to...

    Alcohol in the bowl

Is it bad to scrub the pipe chamber with an alcohol soaked pipe cleaner? Or does it help to clean it? I used to do it with my cobs and I found it left the next smoke tasting fresh and smooth. I recently bought some higher end briars, and realized that no one else seemed to clean their briars...

    Where is the rim?

No, I've been using a spit covered q-tip to remove tar from the outside part

    Where is the rim?

I've had my pipes for a few months now, and I recently discovered I was cleaning them wrong. I corrected myself, but I then realized I was confused about one thing. Is the rim of the pipe the area just outside the bowl? Or the area right below at the enterance?

    Stain Coming Off

Edit: my pipe is from the Algonquin series, not the voyager. Though I'm sure that what you said probably applies to both.

    S&T Pipe

I recently picked up an S&T brand pipe fpr $30 on a whim, and now I'm not so sure if I should have. When I tried to research it, I couldn't find any info online about the company and when I contacted the place I bought it from they didnt really seem to know what they were talking about. All I...

    Stain Coming Off

So I've been smoking cobs regularly for a few months now, and I recently decided to step up my game so I bought a briar pipe. Its a Brigham, since they're easy to find in Canada, and they're in my price range. I got it home, and it was one of the best smokes I've ever had, but when I was...
