Another PAD story
Keep in mind that when it comes to collectibles (which includes pipes of course) an item is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. Supply and demand after all....if I want something bad enough I will "over-pay" especially if I don't think the same opportunity to buy a similar will come up...- rideauwrangler

I too have wanted to try and date the Brighams I have but haven't been able to nail it down. I received one Brigahm in an estate lot from an old navy man who said the 3 pipes I bought from him were all purchased in the 1950's but to be honest I think his memory was failing... I would think the DHS and TSA shouldn't be concerned about under-age tobacco smoking even if it were a problem for you; but it would seem, according to US forum members, it won't be a problem for you.- rideauwrangler

Had a pipe with a pit viper - No, not your ex wife...
ssjones; south american species if indeed "jararaca".... I know in Ontario we only have one poisonous snake and that's the Massassauga rattler which is only found around Georgian Bay/L. Huron...they too are tiny like this little viper.- rideauwrangler

Luciano Pavarotti Was a Pipesmoker
I remember going to see him perform as part of the 3 Tennors in what used to be Skydome in Toronto (now Roger's Center I think?)...I was in the nose bleeds but it was still a great performance.- rideauwrangler
