    Origins of User Names?

Traditionally I've been a dedicated sport fisherman (catch-and-release only) on the Rideau River; hence Rideauwrangler!

    Another PAD story

Keep in mind that when it comes to collectibles (which includes pipes of course) an item is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. Supply and demand after all....if I want something bad enough I will "over-pay" especially if I don't think the same opportunity to buy a similar will come up...

    Brigham Pipes

I too have wanted to try and date the Brighams I have but haven't been able to nail it down. I received one Brigahm in an estate lot from an old navy man who said the 3 pipes I bought from him were all purchased in the 1950's but to be honest I think his memory was failing... I bought 4 other...

    Age problems in different places

I would think the DHS and TSA shouldn't be concerned about under-age tobacco smoking even if it were a problem for you; but it would seem, according to US forum members, it won't be a problem for you.

The Gentleman Smoker: Proper Fitting Sports Coats & Pipe Bags

Good article; I do feel "different" when I wear a jacket; however I typically only wear them to weddings and funerals. The exception would be the odd formal occation with the wife....

    What a rip off

All I can add to this is; try living in Canada! Shipping rates here, domestic or international are insane! $9 is not that bad from my perspective.

    Metal Fans?

I grew up with British Heavy Metal and 80's Hair Metal; childhood idols included, GNR, Priest, Maiden, Sabbath, Crew, Van Halen, Scorpions, KISS, Zepplin, est....then in the late 80's early 90's I got turned onto Thrash Metal and got hooked on the BIG-4 (Anthrax/Megadeath/Metallica/Slayer) for...

Anyone know of a decent smoke shop or tobacconist in Fort Myers Florida? I did a quick online search but didn't really find what I was looking for...somewhere with a good selection of pipe tobaccos and a decent website.. Any tips are appreciated!

Introducing Yourselves to Other Pipe Smokers

That is a good story and I could see myself approaching others and starting conversation. Great minds think alike afterall.

Had a pipe with a pit viper - No, not your ex wife...

ssjones; south american species if indeed "jararaca".... I know in Ontario we only have one poisonous snake and that's the Massassauga rattler which is only found around Georgian Bay/L. Huron...they too are tiny like this little viper.

    Pipe Smoking Inspiration

After 22 years, last year I quit smoking cigarettes; however I still enjoy cigars on the golf course, in the duck blind, fishing trips and summer BBQ's. I love flavourful Cuban cigars and pipe tobacco is equally enjoyable. What really prompted me into this new hobby was seeing a collection of...

    1st 4noggins Sampler Order

Finally placed an order with 4noggins for their aromatic sampler. Can't wait for it to arrive; have read so many great things about this company from other Canucks on the forum...will finally be able to contribute some tobacco reviews. I have read in detail the descriptions and reviews of the 5...

    Luciano Pavarotti Was a Pipesmoker

I remember going to see him perform as part of the 3 Tennors in what used to be Skydome in Toronto (now Roger's Center I think?)...I was in the nose bleeds but it was still a great performance.
