Yay! I Think.. Well Maybe Not

So... I lost this cheapo pipe tool five years ago while smoking a pork butt overnight in the back yard.( I've mentioned several times on these forums of my habit of losing accessories) Anyway, yesterday I was dumping some old dirt out of a planter that i use for growing hot peppers and this was...

    New Pouch

Poking about at the Wayne County Fair today and found this at a leather goods stall. It's not airtight, but will suffice for holding two or three bowls during a day trip. 🙂

    A New Tobacco Tray...

My cousin made a wood tray for my piping. Made with Cherry, oak, and walnut. Bonus feature: it's heavy enough to be used as a combat frisbee. 😁

    I'm Apologizing Now.

I'm in a really crappy mood due to being screwed over on a late entrant in a new house bid.(won't give details as it's embarrassing and probably my fault anyway) Anyway if anything I post on anyone's threads seems overly sarcastic or snarky, my apologies. I'm gonna start drinking now which...

Show Us Your Pipe Cleaner Holder/Dispencer

Yeah, it's a stretch but I got this wooden thingy last week from a neighbor and I love it.

    Im "Going There" Now

C&D is dropping "We Three Kings" on August 26th. I'm already prepared for the lunacy. 😛

So... What OTHER Hobbies Occupy Your Time?

I like to collect old safety razors(I go for function over appearance) and I also dabble in flint knapping. (I suck at this, but I keep trying)

Attack of the Filthy Estate Pipes!

Apologies, but I did not want to completely derail a thread in the Beginner's Questions forum, so I'm putting this here.

Àll I Wanted was Another Tin of Crooner, but......

Went to the Pipe Rack in Akron to get another tin of Crooner(which has been slowly becoming a favorite) but I just HAD to get more. All three of these are on my "C & D Try List" so I pulled the trigger. Of note: the tin of Junkyard Dawg is over four years old and starting bulge a bit on the...

    Tom Lehrer 4/9/1928 - 7/26/2025

This one got lost amongst the high profile obits in the past 15 days. ☹️ Tom Lehrer, song satirist and mathematician, dies at 97 - https://apnews.com/article/tom-lehrer-son-satirist-mathematician-dies-9caa7ee01faf4fbfb793d7ba984c179d

    Worth Saving or No?

Gifted to me by a co worker who knew I enjoy piping. What I want to know is if this is worth restoring. I would have to pay someone else to do the work since I have all the restoration skills of a dead catfish. It's got some dings & scratches, and the bowl interior is frightful looking...

    Vanity or Insanity... or BOTH?

Never felt the need to Cellar tobacco until very recently. That being said, I'm now probably going overboard. Not with quantity, but with "branding" You see, I got tired of trying to put the proper labels on my jars, so I began fiddling about with making my own labels. One is for the lid...

    The Pipe Rack in Akron

A delightful place. I wish I could have walked away everything, but settled for a couple of house blends, a couple of C&D tins, and a nice unfinished Molina. When i lived in Florida, I frequented Bennington's in Sarasota often; this place is much nicer. I'll be going back frequently. 🙂

    Ghosts are REAL!

Just checking in after 11 1/2 year absence. Maybe I'll stick around longer this time.
