    Recommended Starter Tobacco

So I went to an online tobacco retailer to see what tobaccos I could purchase and get in on the free shipping at $100. I did not realize how much tobacco could be purchased for $100!!! Dunhill Tin - Night Cap (50g) x 1 tin Lane Limited - 1Q (by the ounce) x 4 oz Altadis Bulk - Frosty Mint x 8...

Has MasterCard joined the smoke nazis?

I wonder if this is just Outwest not taking MC. I'm saddened, my favorite credit card is indeed a MasterCard. Looks like I might have to get myself a new credit card - perhaps a Paypal or Amazon card is in order.

Richmond Pipe Show 2010 report with lots of pics

Nice pictures. Kevin, you have a huge smile on your face in one of the pictures - it's like you walked through the gates of pipe and tobacco heaven. Chuck - you look exactly like your avatar, complete with handlebars. As for the pipes - I really dig the Ashton 6 sided pipe, maybe in the future...

Former Cigarette Smokers Raise Your Hand

I used to smoke cigs. I stopped for 2 years then about a month ago my friend gave me one - it was disgusting, so I smoked another - still disgusting. Haven't had any urge to smoke a regular cigarette. I even tried my friend's electronic cigarette - the cartridges taste all right but the...

Favorite Way to Dress a Homemade Pizza Up?

That reminds me surfmac, I once had a home made pie that had: 1) blue cheese 2) prosciutto 3) marmalade Yes, that 3rd item is for real. It was delicious. It's just those 3 items on a pie put to bake. Absolutely fabulous.

Favorite Way to Dress a Homemade Pizza Up?

It's time to go all out. Get multiple cheeses, doesn't matter what kind as long as they melt. Then, get a costco sized bacon strips, throw those on top. Bake, cool, consume!

    Restoring tobacco

Hrm, this is an interesting question that I'd like to know the answer to as well. I can only assume, from my limited knowledge, that what has evaporated is just water moisture. I think they do sell remoisturizing chips that you can put into the tin to restore the moisture. Hopefully someone...

    New Rules - Please Note

Hey Kevin, I'd like to suggest an idea - as a member of this forum and a moderator of a few other forums, one thing I have noticed is a dedicated sub forum for vendors. Do you think it would be part of Pipes Magazine to have a dedicated sub forum? One of the greatest things to spawn from the...

What computer are you posting with?

I just rebooted an old computer of mine. It was using Vista Premium 32bit, I hated the user assistance, so I chucked it for XP Pro (needed the remote networking features), and also put on the newest Ubuntu release, Maverick Meerkat. I'm posting from the Ubuntu portion right now - it looks...
