Man, I love Burley. What's Your Favorite?

Amphora Burley Blend is one of the best pouch blends I've ever had. I have a review of that somewhere, also. EDIT: Here: First Impression: Amphora Burley Blend :: Pipe Tobacco Reviews - https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/first-impression-amphora-burley-blend.70977/

I offer this very technical and detailed review for your consideration. First Impression: Mac Baren HH Burley Flake :: Pipe Tobacco Reviews - https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/first-impression-mac-baren-hh-burley-flake.64846/

Not TAD. Not PAD. It's BAD!

Bonus points if the person's name is Caca Marie. You can't make this stuff up.....

Jim's C&D Eight State Burley Small Batch 2024 Review.

I got 7 cans, Jim, just so you can calculate your kickback accurately.... nnnn Thanks for the review!

    TAD Acquisitions 2024

My TAD has been rather dormant this year, but I just snagged a lot from @hoosierpipeguy laden with Hal O' The Wynd and then got enough Eight State Burley to get free shipping from SP.

    8th Annual Fishnbanjo Day

. Fishnbanjo Day was started as a good-natured harassment of Sante while he was still with us. It morphed into a memorial of sorts after his passing.

    8th Annual Fishnbanjo Day

I think Sante would have dug some of the more recent cob releases, though he enjoyed showing us how cobs were not disposable items, rocking 100 year old examples.

    The Little Things…

20+ years in Texas broke my gardening spirit, fighting the eternal drought and the toil under the sun, though @wilblee I DO miss the Hill Country wildflower displays. I had encouraged the spiderwort in my yard until the entire back yard was covered in it every spring. It's an interesting plant...

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2025

I just enjoyed a Diesel Rage Toro while some young men way more motivated than me detailed my CRV.

    8th Annual Fishnbanjo Day

Welcome, all, to the celebration of a great friend of this forum who is no longer with us. Fishnbanjo was a kind and knowledgeable soul with a mad pipe collection and a kind word for all. He loved to post the "selfies" like the kids were doing, with him in his shades and cap, in front of his...

Gurkha Nicaragua Series Toro. Any Good?

Well, you don't like ANYTHING! nnnn But seriously, thanks! What didn't you like? Flavor? Strength? Burn qualities?

Gurkha Nicaragua Series Toro. Any Good?

I just snagged a dozen of these to get a "free" travel humidor on SP. Who's tried them? Please share your opinions. Thanks.

    Supporting Local Shops

I built my cellar from online sales with timed discounts and free shipping. My pipe and tin selection at home dwarfs the local B&M's offerings. That said, I still force myself to buy SOMETHING with each visit to the B&M because I want them to continue existing. I almost always find a hidden...

What's Your 4th of July, 2024 Food Lineup?

I, too, have some St. Louis ribs for today. Mrs. jaytex1969 will likely be testing out a new tater salad recipe and I'll probably steam up some carrots and broccoli crowns. Oh yeah, the Carolina peaches are in. I'll likely eat them until I'm ill, then eat just a few more... As a combat veteran...

    Your Summer Song

I have fond memories of loading way too many soldiers and coolers into pickup trucks and trekking from Fort Stewart (or whatever it's now called) to Tybee Island, just east of Savannah, Georgia. The Cult's Sonic Temple was hot off the presses and became the backdrop/soundtrack to one of my summers.
