    My Peterson Journey

Thanks for sharing your story. I might be a bit biased, but I don't think there is a finer pipe than a Peterson.

Cover Songs That Kick The Original

I think the Nonpoint cover of Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight is far superior to the original. And pretty much anything Leo Moracchioli over at Frog Leap Studios does...

    Best Star Trek Film

My favorite Trek film is First Contact. Personally, I think the film franchises peaked there as well.

    Smoking, Grilling, and BBQ

I suppose I should've taken a picture of the racks when they came out... This was dinner. Bone slid right out. Tender meat held together. Rib perfection. Doing some point brisket tomorrow.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

Home from remembering my fallen comrades. Enjoying a bowl while I fire up the smoker.

What are You Watching? [2024] Please Rate 1-5

I've been working my way through the 2004-2009 series Battlestar Galactica for the past few weeks. Missed out on this one due to heavy operational tempo and several overseas deployments during those years. It's currently available on Amazon Prime. Absolutely fantastic! Wow! (5/5*)

Popping a four year old tin for the inaugural smoke in my new 2024 Peterson rusticated B61 POTY. 😁

    Briar Pipes - Ireland - Late 1860s

There are quite a few resources available in print and online regarding the history of pipe making. Briar pipes most commonly trace their historical origins to St. Claude, France in or around the mid-1850's. The Kapp brothers formally established a pipe business in Dublin in 1866. They are...

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

A celebratory pipe after my teams first place victory in a hard fought tournament. (The guys always think it's funny when I break out my pipe after practices & games.) Nothing fancy, just the usual... Haunted Bookshop in my favorite Peterson 107.

    Aurora…

We had some heavy cloud cover in NE Ohio, but I managed to get few good shots. It was beautiful. Taken from my house, 30 miles SW of Cleveland. Taken by a friend downtown on the lakefront.

    KAF pipe from Ukraine

I've purchased several of their pipe racks. Very well made. Affordable and packaged nicely for shipping. Easy to assemble. I haven't purchased anything else from them.

Which Peterson Sherlock Holmes is Rarer.

That may be as close as we've ever come to consensus in these forums. 🤣

Strong Blends, Gentle on the Throat and Sinuses?

War Horse isn't as strong as it's made out to be. It's robust, don't get me wrong, but it won't knock you on your arse. As for the green stuff.... I don't care for it. Me and aromatics don't generally get along. Could be a body chemistry thing, so I'm probably not the guy to ask.
