I used a chisel with a "V" shape turned on briar always on right.Smoth parts have been sanded before rustication then resanded after the dark stain to get clear briar again.At finally smooth parts have been stained with a acool aniline mix, made by walnut,yellow and mahogany.Rusticated needs... -

Miele in english means HONEY. Italian smookers have been not particularly made an impression by that kind of pipe.They think are made taking an eye to american market as italian market is slightly more traditional.Anyway why not ? I Have a Pipe That Only Says Italy.
It's a basket pipe.Savinelli has so many grading in his catolog including pipe for beginners ,so no need to have a second without brand.Usually seconds have the savinelli logo and or APC marked- pentangle
