Does anyone know when Dr. Grabow stopped using the screw-in tenon? I have a Viscount with a vulcanite stem and screw-in tenon. I am trying to figure out the approximate manufacture date. From looking online, it looks like the Viscount line began in the late 1950's and ended in the 1990's. I'm...- kitchnsink52

I have kind of a weird suggestion. I'm a new smoker as well, so this might just be my limited experience. In the beginning, everything will taste like hot air and ash, no matter what it is. I go back and forth between the two 😂 I prefer the feel of the forever stem, but I like the smaller size of the plastic stems better. The forever stems I have are kind of wide.- kitchnsink52
