C&D Captain Bob’s Blend followed by Visions of Celephais. Both of these were on the chopping block but I wanted to give them one more chance. They didn’t make it, adios my weird little friends. They are both really different and interesting and I would actually recommend you try them based on their unique flavors.
I smoked them in a cob so instead of looking at an old vegetable, please consider this beauty that I do not own.IMG_4779.png

Near the quarter mark of this bowl of Watch City Jim’s Golden Ticket in a straight smooth brown mid-late 60s Corporate Era Barling 5579 London England (made by Charatan) lumberman with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. The ferals stayed away while my friend Bob was here so I expect to hear from them soon. Sleepy Suzy was by my side the entire time demanding attention. Molly Danger came out after a while, came up to Bob, which is unusual for her as she doesn't care for strangers, and went back to the bedroom. I told Bob, "I told you that cats were smart." :)

Too many more mixtures to try,too few years left to smoke them all.And a double of Christmas bourbon. View attachment 441755View attachment 441756

Have you tried Makers 46? Good stuff neat. Makers 46 cask strength makes an excellent old fashioned.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am near the first quarter of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight black 1964 Dunhill LBS Shell 4S billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. The ferals came in out of the cold and rain to eat, and for some reason, they wanted out in that weather afterward. Lamebrains! :)

A very unusual VaPer ... a crazy idea?
Took a small handful (maybe about 4 pipes worth or so) out of my Odds & Ends jar, which began back in '06.
Lord only knows, of course, what's the composition - could even already have some type of VaPer in it & if so, probably some old McClelland St James Woods ... maybe, but would only be a few pinches.
Then added about 30% Sutliff TS-20 Louisiana Perique.
So, I have an "Odds & Ends VaPer". Credit goes to the Inveterate Tinkerer!
Will let this "stew" for a day or so, then plan to smoke it in both of my Missouri Prides.
Meanwhile, will have a "before bed" snack of Russian cheese on some dark Ukrainian bread, courtesy of the local Russian Market with a side of smoked herring.
NOTE: I don't see many here on the forum talk about their Odds & Ends jars, SB notwithstanding.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar family era Barling’s Make Billiard 6 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The stampings suggest 1930s, but the “6” is a previously unknown stamp number as is its placement. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. I got lucky regarding this blend this evening. I thought that I had a certain amount, but when I noticed a box in the corner of the room and looked inside, I found more. What a relief!
