I thoroughly enjoyed my 2007 Westminster smoke last night; as I sat around a fire in 32 degree temperature. Something so amazing about latakia in the cold winter; and with a fire it adds to the experience.
Westminster (which is new to me) was/is a quintessential English with plumes of latakia smokiness and deep fruity Virginias. For my taste I thought it was more flavorful than Squadron Leader.
And for the first time all the tobacco smoked completely through, nothing left in the bottom. Not a ribbon left. Went to try and relight and realized it was all smoked through, just bare briar. Wow! Maybe a combo of the pipe and tobacco but it was a glorious Christmas day smoke.

Virtual Air Hugs are this years bottle openers 
I was dared to wait and I waited as long as I could. I was hoping to be the last one to open but I couldn’t take it anymore. My secret Santa did great. Not only did I get great gifts but also a mystery.
Individually wrapped presents in real wrapping paper not just the brown paper from SP. Also included was an optimistic/ominous message. Im not sure which yet lol.
On the back of the message is a mini cassette. Here is where the mystery comes in… who still has a mini cassette player? Now I’ve got to buy one to find out what the cassette says. Which is what I plan to do.
As far as the gifts: a home run. What fantastic gifts. The rum flake is actually waxed sealed. Not to mention the McCranies, Marlin Flake, FVF from 2020, NOS cases mini meer, and trench lighter, plus some pipe cleaners. What a haul. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much SS. I plan on posting what the message on the cassette says once I listen to it. Merry Christmas and som Besths to all.

I looked this morning. Awful lonely porch.
I have grown to accept and enjoy the solitude of an empty front porch. Means I don’t have to deal with people bothering me.
However I did get the best gift of all. A “virtual” air hug from @woodsroad what more could anyone ask for!!

USPS is pretty funny. I sent a package to Louisiana. It went to memphis (sounds right), then to shreveport (sounds righter), then to indianapolis (what?). The logistic team over there boggles the mind.
