Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and smoked a bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Time to feed the ferals.

Hey @MontyTX beautiful roses. I'm just curious if you're by the coast down there. Because up here in Ft Worth I think it hit 86 or 87 this afternoon. It's been crazy heat!

I hear you on the SP cart. I almost can't even look at the site without finding something else "interesting." Lol
😻
Thanks, Roses and lantana are a few of the plants I’ve managed to keep alive here in the SA area. It got a bit warm today, but I’ll take that over freezing temps and ice anytime.

Now smoking year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. All the ferals are eating. I had to feed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave in the den so Harry the Hairy wouldn't bother them with his presence. They've been quiet all day.

Enjoyed a little low calorie snacking, and have passed the last third of this bowl of year 2016 Peter Heinrichs Special Curly in a 2003 smooth reddish brown medium bend, gold banded 3 Star Ferndown Tudor Root with a tapered black acrylic stem. Going to enjoy some quiet reading time.

Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am part way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked, and the model that he smoked it in.

Last smoke of the day is year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This was my first Sasieni. Bought it at my local Tinderbox for $9.95. The ferals are back in for more food. Molly Danger wasn't happy about it, and scared off Harry the Hairy when he went to the kitchen. She's in the den now, so Harry's eating in peace.

Adrift in the "Daft Days" between Christmas Day and New Year, when those of us blessed with leisure are apt to forget what day it is 😁 A post-breakfast smoke of Rattray's Sterling Flake, in a Rattray's Old Perth cutty, with black coffee and a tot of Wood's "100" Navy rum. I'm finding the Sterling improves on acquaintance but still seems to me to lack the harmonious complexities of the Peterson's Irish Flake. What the two seem to have most in common is a similar proportion of Va/Ky mix.
