Back to the chores now that all of the celebrating is over..... Moved a lot of brush that I cut last week in the back pasture.

First smoke in a gift to myself..... some HU Director's Cut in a Savinelli Punta Oro #122 pot with Army mount stem. Sparkling water on the side.

Listing this a couple of minutes early: year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight 1960s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.

Fresh tin of Nightcap in a Randy Wiley Galleon.

Last time I tried this it was under Dunhill, in a 3/4” wide bowl Stanwell. New stuff if a 1” bow tastes very mellow compared to what I remember. This new stuff is more reminiscent of PS52 or Maltese Falcon than a Latakia kick in the face. I’ll have to try it in a 3/4” bowl tomorrow…

On the menu for my afternoon smoke is a bowl of GH&Co Dark Plug loaded in my Guildhall and paired with decaf vanilla tea while listening to the rain outside.

PS Luxury Navy Flake in the Vauen Olaf bent egg with 9mm filter while getting the snowblower ready for later (after I gassed it up!). Nat'l Wether Svc is now saying 7-11 inches of snow tonight. Local TV says 6-8+ but they are always off. NWS is usually accurate to within 15 minutes of start stop times. Deciding what pipe and tobacco to have during the actual clean up. Maybe PS LTF in ... ??? ...

Its been snowing for an hour and a half and we have 3-4 inches of snow. Its supposed to go to 3 am now instead of midnight. Assuming an inch every half hour will be 15 inches. They're saying 7-11 so I am guessing we will reach or exceed 11 inches unless its fast moving. I will probably go out later and start clearing rather than wait until the end. I'd rather do it twice then try to do it all at once. I'm loading up the Barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard with some PS Luxury Twist Flake - that will be a good snow pipe.

Not inquiring for yours specifically, of course. I was simply wondering whether it was an item that was available somewhere, or if it was more of a bespoke item. Obviously the latter. The fact that is is silver is the icing on the cake.

Nevertheless, I am quite envious of such a stunning piece. As envious as Mister Toad, if you wish.

@cosmicfolklore hit it out of the park on that one! I would even settle for one like it in a non-precious metal, like pewter or brass.

Smoke, tamp and dig in good health for the rest of your days, sir. That tamper is worthy of the King of badgers.
