I love marizpan and so my wife usually gets me some at Christmas time.

Well this year she got me some of this, made in Lebanon, it's Lebanese lozina marzipan with pistachio and rose water and it's delicious:

If you ever had the "cherry" tasting marzipan, this isn't that. It's sweeter and not as "cherry tasting" as traditional marzipan or Marzipankartoffeln.

that sounds awesome and I am not a big fan of marizpan. In fact I am going to find an excuse to stop by and raid the candy stash.

If those are flavors you like and you're ever up in Michigan or Wisconsin, there's a regional I've cream flavor that, when it's good, has a similar profile. Almond, pistachio, orange blossom. They call it Blue Moon.

When it's not good, it just tastes like fruit loops.
