Well, okay... I arrived home after running morning errands & see ARRIVED from Dublin via UPS were the 160th Anniversary Pipes. The Pat B 1974/2400 Dark Smooth bent & the PatOB 1434/2400 Rusticated straight. I am VERY happy with them. Late Sunday 2AM PST order time helps. It was VERY fa$t delivery! (9mm- hence Dublin & no 9mm SETS- so...

That last one also completes a ‘selection’ of ‘textured’ short straights'. The stunningly grained Captain Pete 107 Chubby, the 2013 superbly Sandblasted Antique commemorative PatOB & the new 160th Anniversary Rusticated. All feel great in hand.
Currently smoking the Rusticated PatOB 160th, AND yes, the stem IS a tad 'chunky' but... THIS is a great smoking pipe. The Kramers Extra Smooth is 'oh so VERY tasty" in the bowl .

These are NOT the truly important things in life at all. I am SO grateful for the big things & so very thankful for these little things. I am ending this 160th celebrations with gratitude & determination to NOT add to my pipe companion group in ‘26 without first unloading some pipes not often 'companioned' beforehand.

The PetersonPipeNotes POY'25 (PPN) is due before Christmas & I am aware just how very blessed I am. SO thankful -

The Captain Pete Chubby 107 is a tad taller. Each has a little bit different bit/stem. The sandblast is probably the thinnest and the 160th Rustic is the chunkiest, but all are light and easy-peasy to clench. Thank you for the kind words... 2026 will most like be the year in which I refine the group. Decide which I super enjoy smoking and maybe be a little more judicious in sections. Like most of our grandfathers & great Grand Dad's... Sadly, the number of pipes I have is ridiculous by comparison.

My wife has kindly bit her tongue for years after reminding me how I once said..."if ONLY I could work up to own a 7 day set of Petersons, you know a WEEKS worth!" LOL
I have eclipsed that & could nearly smoke the entire group 4 times if I smoked one pipe repeatedly through the day, like our ' forefathers' did. Yeah... PAD is real... & needs to be controlled!

Wow! I really wanted to get a Terracotta silver cap set but it never populated on the site. Consolidation price was a Rua set. Next time I'll just call SP directly.

I was on the fence, I ended up getting them as seperates (Dark Smooth) - Im not 100% sold on the Pat OB. Looks like mine wont arrive until after Christmas. Shipments from SP.com have been taking very long these days.

Yeah, I noticed that with a recent tobacco order. Had always gotten orders from SP in 3-4 business days. But, last order took over 1 week.
