Anybody getting one of these? I settled for a straight sandblast (pic below), but the sets look great. Looks like they come in a few finishes, and in a straight and bent version. Here is the description from SP:

Peterson commemorates 160 years of pipe making with a landmark release: the 160th Anniversary series. This celebratory collection comprises two shapes inspired by Peterson's early archives — the Pat. B, a gracefully bent Billiard, and the Pat. OB, a traditional straight Billiard. Both designs are meticulously recreated from original examples and period drawings found in the 1906 Peterson catalog, under the direction of Giacomo Penzo, Peterson's Pipe Specialist.

Limited to a serialized production of just 2,400 pipes, the series is offered across a selection of the marque's most iconic finishes. Each pipe is fitted with Peterson's signature P-Lip vulcanite stem and adorned with a sterling silver band, uniting historical authenticity with the craftsmanship that has defined the brand for over a century and a half. This particular Pat. OB is dressed in Peterson's sandblasted finish.

I was logged in right at 3:00 pst. They started dropping around 3:05ish. Right away there were a handful of barley’s and a couple naturals. By 3:10 the site was heavily bogged down, when I went back to the barleys and naturals they were all sold. I feel lucky to have scored this terracotta. The birdseye and veins show pretty good depth in the photo. Usually their pics are accurate so I’m stoked.

Same! I was getting some Chelsea Morning when the email dropped. Almost splurged on a PSB, but there was the nice regular sandblast available. Nice pipe!

I really wasn’t going to buy one, but I was perusing the site prior and saw the second they dropped

First pick sold from under me… so I went on to the next. Quickly put it in my cart and checked out. I was able look through the two pipe sets, and there were some nice variations in there, but I already had one pipe down, so just puttered around till I got the apologies screen - then “Nothing found” message, so I bounced out.

I haven't been real happy with the P-lip buttons on recent POY offerings. Mark's blog entry on the drop describes well defined walls, so I grabbed a Pat OB in sandblast.

What did the sets sell for?

I think the Rua set I almost bought was $484 (if that was the PSB then maybe it was kind of a bargain), but that's from memory - less a little less than what I paid for three different models.

Got a Rua set and a Terracotta bent. I like the stubby stems. These are the only new pipes I've purchased this year - thought I might make it through all of 2025 safely.

A couple of Ruas, and a couple of Rua sets lasted quite a while on the SP EU site.
Am generally a fan of chubby pipes. But, the stems looked too chubby and clunky to me. The straight billiard also had a chamber that was far too shallow for me.

I get it, but in keeping with the idea of "that's what makes a horserace", this is a refreshingly different pipe design from them, and I applaud their taking a chance at alienating some of their customers. Sales have proven it to be a good idea.

If I'm counting correctly, they've sold 2104 out of the 2400 singles and all 75 of the sets.
