G&H Dark Plug again, this time in a Chris Askwith blasted morta Liverpool with a tapered briar stem. Thanks to the increased airflow of the morta the Dark Plug tasted milder and was easier to sip but the bowl size I found a bit excessive for this strength of tobacco. Next time, a small Meer, I think. This afternoon I missed both the hedgehogs and Miss Doreen Gray, a disappointment for all four of us, I reckon. Still left some more cat food out on the off-chance.

Now smoking the last of this mylar of year 2024 KBV Mr. Christian's Haunted Virginia in a straight, black sandblasted 1980s Comoy’s Mark-2 G * 6 (4) bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Sleepy Suzy has been by my side for hours. Harry the Hairy has been snoozin' in front of the entertainment center for hours.

Quite a warm afternoon here, around 65. I've got We Three Kings 👑 simmering in the unmarked Meer. A little drying time helps, for me. And I think this tastes better in the Meer. I'm getting a different note of something, what I don't know. Pleasant. 😻

Iced coffee, cream/no sugar. :coffee:

Tim, I gotta say that the extra bend in the stem really sets the unmarked Meer off in a fine way. Looks great.

Finally got my motion detector set up so now the Boogie man won't be able to sneak up on us. He may still come, but we'll know it.

Moved the final batch of leaves. Had a stiff wind with gusts up to 32 mph and it was running the right way. All I had to do is hit the leaves with the blower, get 'em in the air and the wind sent them to the next county.....

To close things out I had some HU Janneman Flake in my 1953 Dunhill bent.

I'm not sure what I was most excited about.... getting to smoke a delicious blend in a 72 year old Dunny.... or trying a new flavor of Waterloo sparkling water - Guava Berry!

Both were tasty.

Solstice Tea Traders has a fantastic Russian Caravan. I've had several others, but theirs is a current favorite. Pairs so well with a pipe.
I just today recieved some Kensington Breakfast from Upton. I like it pretty well. I used to get Harney's English Breakfast by the pound but it changed and not for the better. I will check Solstice Tea Traders.

Good morning! It’s sunny, beautiful 38F. All us Florida cold weather wimps are whining. This afternoon we’ll be in shirt sleeves enjoying a warm and sunny mid 60‘s afternoon. Life is full of these little lessons. You need 30 to appreciate 60. The blessing is 30. Quit your complaining! Burliest burley in this cob. Good strong black Eight O’Clock Coffee.

Bob, is it possible for a burley to be "too burley" for your morning constitutional???
