I tried a whole lotta new blends in 2025, over 50 of them I think, but I don't think I smoked through more than half an ounce of any of them... with two exceptions.

The two blends I smoked a lot of in 2025, and actually went through about 6 ounces of each, were Lane RLP-6 and Smoker's Pride Cherry Cavendish. Apparently when I'm not busy pretending I'm a cultured and sophisticated pipe smoker I'm actually going through quite a lot of ultra mellow Burley forward aromatics! 😅

Most years I go through quite a lot of Haunted Bookshop too, but the fresh batch I got over the summer was way heavier on the dark Burley and Perique than usual and seemed more like Old Joe Krantz than Haunted Bookshop; so my jar of Haunted Bookshop has sat mostly unsmoked this year. I should probably pass it on to someone who will enjoy it more than I do and order a new batch.

A lot of my smoking has been the same with 1 surprise. If it's still around I'll probably be buried with a jar of the first one.

C&D Big n' Burley (as always)

Prince albert (the DR stuff has grabbed my heart as a go to mild smoke)

C&D Haunted Bookshop (never disappoints)

C&D Billy Budd (My go to latakia blend)

The shocker: Rivertown tobacco works custard conspiracy (Very tasty stuff!)

I suspect my list next year will be similar. The rivertown stuff has replaced C&D's maple cavendish as my go to aro. I could sell my soul to a demon to make this blend bite and it probably still wouldn't. The black cav is flavorful and the added vanilla is very pleasant.

I only smoke 5 or 6 bowls in a typical week, and have way too many open tins and jars that I dip into. Having said that, I have smoked more of the following than anything else in the past year:
GLPease Sixpence
Capstan Blue
Esoterica Dunbar
HH Vintage Syrian
St. Bruno Ready Rubbed
L.J. Peretti Thanksgiving Day (2020 batch)

Also, a few new to me (in 2025) blends that I really like:
HU Makhuwa
HU Fayyum
C&D Autumn Evening
