My PMSS Package arrived. Anyone have words on Black House or the Brown Flek? Also the Joie de vivre is 11 years old and bulged up nicely, should make for a good smoke!
Black House is a recreation of Sobranie 759, and a decent one. Brown Flek is a pleasant Virginia.

Black House is an outstanding latakia and oriental forward blend produced from the Hearth and Home line by Russ Ouellette. It was in a competition with Blue Mountain by McClelland (and another blend) in 2011 at a Chicago Pipe Show blend show-down and won the award. Unfortunately, it is now out of production with STG taking over recently.

Brown Flek is a Virginia blend from Ken Byron Ventures. He is a micro-blender that produces blends in a variety of categories. I have not had Brown Flek, but heard good things about it.
