Awesome Ale Love all things Sammie Smith! One of the highlights of my travels; I got a private tour of the brewery back in the 90's. We traveled up from London just to visit the brewery. Ended up they were closed to the public due to foot and mouth disease (pre interweb so didn't know). My B&B owner new the VP and convinced him to give us the vip tour, as it was and still is my favorite brewery. We ended up in the employees pub in the basement and finished the tour with several pints and great stories.
@TN Jed how to tell if it is a mad cow

First pipe in a few days. Got called out to New Mexico last minute on Thursday and my flight was cancelled, got another flight out of another Dallas airport, connection was in Houston and they canceled my connecting flight and rescheduled to Friday morning while I was in the air. Well! My inspection window was from 5-8 Am. Not a happy camper. So I fell asleep in the Houston hobby airport at 1 am, woke up at 6 and got on a plane to Albuquerque and drove straight out there 2.5 hours to the site, luckily the site owner had a tech who could be my escort and I still got what we needed. Just got home, and I am so happy to see my wife and the dogs. Hard trip, but I earned brownie points with the boss and the client and got to see some amazing NM scenery plus a cool substation. Now unwinding, unpacking my latest ammunition order, smoking the very last of my tin of Carolina Red Flake 24 in my Pete Dracula 106. Relaxing after two wonderful giant pork chops and mashed potatoes dinner. Dessert was an ice cream sandwich, a couple of oatmeal raisin cookies, and some pecans. My drink was a bottle of Boylan's Birch Beer. After that, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. The ferals are in and eating.

Now smoking year 2013 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051 dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching Entertaining the Troops which is about Hollywood stars in World War Two. Daisy the Feral Princess ate and is by my feet. Harry the Hairy and Tomato the Brave ate and went out. Norton the Nosey is snoozin'. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

@Goblin_Walrus Welcome back! Sorry to hear about your travel nightmare. Cool pics -- reminded me of Arizona (where my folks live).

Tonight: Peretti Dutch Chocolate 🇳🇱🍫 with cigar leaf tossed in, in a Vermont Freehand Cherrywood Morta. Wow, the cigar leaf really fixed up this Dutch Choc. The leaf does more for the Dutch than for the Coffee Blend (which is actually great on its own anyway). This tastes like a chocolate-y cigar, in a good way. The Dutch went from mediocre to excellent.

With all the schnazzy pipes lately, feels boring trotting out my little cherrywood ... 😻 (JK love my pipes)

Yep, New Mexico is my favorite state. Though, love the landscapes of any Rocky Mountain state. Probably because I've never lived in a state with mountains.:)
