The Sasieni Four Dot, the Danish Ben Wade, the Larsen, the Caminetto, and the Dunhill are the highlights of the collection. GBD pipes may also be included, but I don’t have that information. The value will depend heavily on their condition and specific models. I recommend checking completed eBay auctions for pipes similar to yours.
Thank you for taking a look at them. I appreciate the guidance!

Hello all! I think it is necessary to note that I enjoy smoking a pipe, but do it fairly infrequently and not to any degree of expertise.

I recently visited a thrift and came across a basket of about 50+ pipes. Not knowing much, but quickly doing some research I realized that I had to buy the lot.

Some of the brands that i got:
Sasieni(multiple), Ben Wade(multiple), Butz-Choquin(multiple), GBD(multiple), Savinelli(two), Peterson’s(two) and about 26 other fairly nice brands that I don’t know much about.

My main question is, would there be someone to help me figure out what these are worth?

I am making an inventory with pics of all and will have a link to is soon!
Looks like a nice haul of pipes you found. Congrats

If you decide to sell them on eBay, I suggest you close the auction on Friday night, when everyone is drunk. Works for me.
I usually find some sort of great deal on eBay with auctions that end on Black Friday, Christmas, Super Bowl, etc.

Far less competition.

As the OP is a regular seller, I'm sure they know this.

For what it's worth... If it were me the first thing I would do I smoke each one of them and keep the ones I like and peddle the rest.

Maybe I over looked it, but what did you pay for them? puffy

I think the person who posted this is more of a picker and reseller than a pipe smoker. In some forums, people don’t appreciate it when this type of user asks about things they’ve found. It doesn’t bother me; pipe smoking is my hobby, and I enjoy talking about it with anyone.

I was waiting for the “How dare a non-pipe smoker buy pipes!” comment.

That is one thing that I’m to like about this community. the fact that people care about this so much and just enjoy talking about it is refreshing! I will most definitely be keeping some and getting into the hobby! Always fun to learn more

I never looked on it as a hobby. To me it's more of a life style thing. People I know who are not pipe smokers (which is most of them) simply don't get it and I gave up a long time ago trying to explain myself. puffy

I consider it a hobby because I do it for enjoyment and personal satisfaction. I’m interested in it and I enjoy it, but it doesn’t define me, so it’s not a lifestyle for me.
