I did ok today....

I stopped by a smoke shop today that I have passed by dozens of times before. Went in and asked the gentleman working there if they had any pipe tobacco. He took me towards the back of the store and showed me his pipe tobacco section. Various codger blends, super value bags and pouches, and various other items. I noticed some bags kinda stuck behind some stuff, and found this hiding behind some other bags. One pound of Mac Baren Burley London Blend. Bag has October 2011 on the back. He also has a few various tins of Mac Baren on the shelves that I'll be returning to purchase soon. Decent find today.

That's an impressive score right there! Nice to know one can still find gems from time to time. If I had a B&M closer than 150 miles round trip, I'd be checking in fairly frequently. You never know!

That's what I was thinking. I've never heard of Mac Barens mint, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Their Choice RYO line offers Cool Mint and Double Menthol. These might work in place of Frosty Mint for the home blending folks. I‘m not sure if this is available in the USA. Can you tell I’m bored with the TV tonight?

Well, I went by that store again today. Here is what I purchased today. Here is the Mac Baren MINT. He had two bags, I only purchased one today. I also purchased the bag of Mac Baren Original. Each bag is one pound. He sold me both bags for $15 each.
He also has a one pound bag of MB 7 SEAS Black, one pound bag of MB 7 seas Royal, and a one pound bag of MB 7 seas GOLD. He said he would sell those for $30 each. He also has a five pound bag of Newminster No. 9 Creamy Vanilla, said he would take $100 for the five pound bag.
