That Wonderful First Couple Hours in the Morning.

Love this thread. I always wake up at least two hours before I have to start work. Pour over coffee, a pipe (occasionally one from the night before), check my bank balance to make sure there's enough to cover the endless outflow, read the Wall Street Journal and the Times online. Only then do I shower and get dressed for the day ahead.

I get my best sleep of the night while you guys are all smugly congratulating yourselves for being alone in the morning.

Sometimes... sometimes not... It doesn't make or break the day for me. But this morning was nice because I was up at 5:30, had coffee and a bowl, and got to use my scythe to mow part of my back yard. Got all limbered up for the day.
