My experience with interns has touched both extremes of the spectrum over the years.

The biggest shift over time was towards a sense of entitlement amongst a greater percentage of them. If I was half as good as they thought they were with zero experience I’d be richer than Gates.

From living in a college town for years. Less a mark of kids these days and which ones can afford to go to college.

One dim bulb kept standing too close to the test article (aircraft fuselage) to get a good view, despite being repeatedly admonished to move back to where the rest of us were standing. He wasn’t physically injured when it let go but the ashen look on his face was priceless. He didn’t do that again.
