I agree. That drawing obviously meant much to her if she’s giving it away. Is the scant money you will receive really worth it? Very insensitive.
While this seems very odd to me, I don't know the circumstances surrounding it so I'm not going to make any assumptions about it.

Well, if it's your stuff, you can do whatever you want with it. I'm sentimental so I wouldn't follow suit unless it was a dire situation but I can't judge here.
Well I can see your points but don’t care to offer a judgement myself. The artwork and plates are interesting. Especially originating from Mary McNeil. And I remember having a tin of that Chesdin Mixture back in 2006 or 2007. Did not know, had no idea it was a McClelland collaboration. But I do remember that I quite liked it, yet never had it again. And where they conceived the Benjamin Hartwell brand and series, I do not know other than the marketing blurb on the tin.
Who knows. Maybe it's too sentimental for him. Maybe he doesn't have anywhere to display it and feels it be better with someone who will cherish it then sitting in storage. MAybe his wife made him. Maybe he needs money for betting on monkey death fights. Who knows.
