Kinda tacky, auctioning off a gift. But, it was a gift so, he can do as he wishes I suppose.
I agree. That drawing obviously meant much to her if she’s giving it away. Is the scant money you will receive really worth it? Very insensitive.

Weird how someone who handles tobacco all the time can't even spell her name right.

As for selling that kind of gift---I know Mary and what motivates her to do stuff like that---if there isn't a damn good reason for it, Mr. Jeremy will be at the top of my "wishes ill upon" list for as long as I live.

Well, if it's your stuff, you can do whatever you want with it. I'm sentimental so I wouldn't follow suit unless it was a dire situation but I can't judge here.

Well I can see your points but don’t care to offer a judgement myself. The artwork and plates are interesting. Especially originating from Mary McNeil. And I remember having a tin of that Chesdin Mixture back in 2006 or 2007. Did not know, had no idea it was a McClelland collaboration. But I do remember that I quite liked it, yet never had it again. And where they conceived the Benjamin Hartwell brand and series, I do not know other than the marketing blurb on the tin.
