I have not purchased tobacco since 2020, so I lost track of these details! Sorry @Steddy not intentionally giving you an impossible list. I have just a tin or two of each of these left, and then its done.
Yeah unfortunately things have shifted greatly. You can still get some tins of Plumcake from 1 or 2 of the major suppliers that still have it but otherwise everything else mentioned is gonna either be from an old dusty shop corner or a bidding site/forum member :/

Another vote for Lane HGL. It immediately became one of my favorites after the first smoke.

Plum Pudding - if it's not gone forever.

Peretti Midnight is a great stand-in for Frog Morton; I only tried it recently but it strikes me as what Frog Morton was trying to be... I no longer miss FM.

Peretti Cambridge Flake for something a little more restrained.

I am smoking through a tin of 2018 plumcake right now, I have one left after that. Delicious smoke! and my favourite tin note...but when it's gone, it's gone.

Thank you all for your responses and I am looking forward to trying most of these. I have been smoking a pipe going on four years now and it’s great to still feel new to it all. A whole world of exploration exists.

So, we just did this topic a few weeks ago. Search Sweetest English Blend and you will get pages of responses in that thread. As before, Balkan Sasieni, Stokkebye English Luxury and Mm965 come in pretty sweet.

Northwoods from Boswell’s is my #1 but you could also try C&D’s Crossed Eyed Cricket. It’s a very tasty English/aromatic blend.

Lane Limited HGL. This is Lane's RLP-6 with a touch of Latakia added.

Park-Lane Tobacconist HGL Match
I don't understand why people say this about RLP. RLP is much darker than HGL and adding Latakia to it would only make it darker.

Had to check back in on this thread because I have a new recommendation. So tonight decided I wanted to try blending something together for my night time bowl. I recently opened a tin of Royal Yacht an have been enjoying it thoroughly. But with my love of Latakia and English Balkan blends, especially sweet ones, I decided to add some Captain Earle’s ten Russians to the Royal Yacht. Went with 60% RY 40% 10 Russians. It’s actually a super strong and very highly fortified with the Vitamin N. Seems that way anyway. It’s very rich with the sweet plum like essence in the Royal Yacht with some excellent notes of sweet and Smokey Latakia. Seems to work well together. I can hear many of you now cursing me in your minds for mixing such an abominable mixture Haha. Give it a try if you dare. 😂
