Title was corrected -Rule #9, Title Capitalization
Hello folks,
I found in an antique shop 2 old pipes supposedly Dr Grabow.
Need to know some information about them based on experts opinion. And if there will be recommdation to smoke them or keep them unsmoked (for the sake of preserving unsmoked pipes).
Attached are the pictures.

Thank you,
Migwar

Hello,

Tried one of the pipes today. It was lit from first time. What surprised me is that the wood was quickly getting very hot, which requires very slow smoking. Is it normal for such pipes? Thanks in advance

You were probably just smoking too fast.

Hello again,

Smoked the second this morning. It is as well quickly overheating with the minimum use. In all case will enjoy smoking them knowing their history.

Just to share information.

Best regards,
