First, I want to say Som Besths and Merry Christmas to all of you!
Next, I want to thank Santa for such a wonderfully kind and generous gift! I am blown away by your kindness! DNR is sooooo good and I love Christmas Cookie as well! I gifted some to a hunting buddy and my stash was dwindling so I'm grateful to have more. FVF, I have never had the pleasure of trying but I'm looking forward to it! And then, just when I'm over the moon and swept away with the spirit of Som Besths, I read the beautiful card and the true meaning of Christmas brings me right back to where I need to be. I'm so thankful for all of God's blessings in my life. I'm thankful for my Santa, for Mike running this PMSS again, and for all of you who bring levity and knowledge into my life on a daily basis.

We got back to Pennsylvania last night after celebrating Christmas at my brother’s place in Manhattan. Susan and I exchanged presents last night after we settled in.
This afternoon, I’ve just opened the PMSS box from @SBC and actually got goosebumps as I unpacked the box! What a bounty of goodies: a pamphlet and lovely handwritten card; some Moser Roth chocolate balls, chocolate teddy bears and snowmen; a 2016 tin of Fribourg & Treyer Cut Virginia Plug and a big tin of 2017 Peter Heinrich’s Dark Strong Flake (both blends I’ve never tried before); a Cuban H. Upmann Magnum 50 Toro; and a beautiful Savinelli Estella Hand Made pipe.
Scott, I am at a loss for words and quite moved by your thoughtfulness and generosity. Thank you very much for this amazing group of PMSS gifts. Wow, just wow.

I'm finally getting an opportunity to share the contents of my packages from secret santa 
@infectedpsyche. Apologies for it taking me so long to post!
My secret santa really outdid himself! A lot of thought was clearly put into this. The first package contained:
A jar of Ephemeris Virginia - new to me and looking forward to trying it!
A bag of North Pole Mocha from John Dengler, with a new MM Cob for sampling the minty mocha aro. This is also new to me, and I'm curious to try!
A tin of '22 Sutliff Cringle Flake.
A bag of CS Cowboy Coffee - probably my all around favorite tobacco.
A cool tamper from Killshot Tampers.
A wind screen
A nice leather tobacco mat
A book
A DVD of the BBC's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV series.
A bag of Community Coffee Christmas Blend - not available in this part of the country!
A cool decal of a pipe smoking Triumph motorcycle rider. (Did you pick up that I have a Triumph?)
And then a second package that contained a cool set of leather coasters adorned with the same pipe smoking rider as the decal.
This was beyond generous! Thank you so much @infectedpsyche! This was all very thoughtful and original.

I think my Secret Santa also read a few of my posts and believed me when I've stated that I have more than a couple decades worth of leaf for consumption. Having that knowledge he decided to provide me with an additional and exceptional tool for incineration of said leaf.
I present to you, with stamping:

As I've no knowledge of these pipes and I only began reading about them, my best dating expectation is that it's between 1935 and 1979. I may learn more when I dig a little deeper.
And he tossed in 3 bottles of Michelada mix.
I especially enjoy the chamfered rim on this style of pipe and there is not a single fill to be found.
I broke it in (for me) with the 2019 Howl O' The Wynd I recently opened, and it was a delightful and dry smoking experience. I believe one of the unique differences of this pipe in comparison to what I normally use, is the chamber dimensions. It is quite wide. And despite being too lazy to go to my shop for the calipers, I'm certain that it is at least 1" wide, and approximately 1.5" deep. That ratio is different than my usual.
Thank you very much Secret Santa (even though I think I know who...). I truly appreciate. May the spirit of Som Besths be multiplied and return to you and yours.

My Christmas came early, as I was fired! But all the time it has freed up permits me to work on my wobbly game of bridge. Getting better!

The box arrived on Boxing Day! Really excited!! A lovely Peterson stack, and some Red Flake from McCranie's (never even heard of them!) to try. Sun Bear is always a favorite, and I totally missed this offering from Sutliff, so THANK YOU my most secret of Santas!!!

I almost put off opening it, because my wife was in the midst of packing for is to go to the beach.

Theironmonkey Has a really good memory. I mentioned this in my PMRadio show with Brian. Maybe I’ve mentioned it elsewhere also. But it is very high on my favorites list. If you haven’t tried it, you should. It’s a great intro to latakia for a Virginia lover.

I am anxious to try this one. Sounds incredible.
Then the piece de la resistance…
First, I am a huge fan of Haruki Murakami’s work. He has combined Lane’s 1Q with Haruki’s novel, 1Q84 this is a work of art all the way around.
Then to add my own words to a Greg spotlight…
