And this OP is worried about cigars. Great press conference talking about meat and fair being NYs third largest contributor to “emissions”. They could just close don’t the Taco Bell’s and there goes a lot of methane type gas. 😂

Well, I finally heard from someone who left a long voicemail on my landline. Anyway, what I got out of his message was that they ship different cigars from different warehouses in different states & rather than subject the NY consumer to a 75% tax rate, they just don't ship those cigars...or something like that.

Called it, some kind of legal/tax headache. That's almost always what it is.

Where exactly that headache is, is anyone's guess. I'm neither an attorney or tax guy. Could be a NYS thing, could be an issue with the state where that specific cigar is held. I know import/export and tax can get tricky even between different states because of differing laws.
