I've had this cd for a few years, but for some reason never reach for it when I want to listen to some Evanescence. I think I dismissed it originally because it was a live concert recording which I'm not usually fond of. (clapping, screaming fans) I did decide to give it another try and I'm glad I did. This is probably one of the best recordings of a live concert I've heard. Super dynamic, and you can clearly hear Amy Lee's voice over the thundering bass and drums. It will probably test your system a bit if played loudly, as it should be... 😜

I am on an Evanescence kick I guess. I just got one of their newer cds in the mail, The Bitter Truth, and it's probably going to be one of my favorites. A little less metal than usual, but well recorded, and it definitely rocks!

I am listening to a very obscure group call Connie and Babe and the Backwoods Boys. They are probably most well-known for the song "Home is Where the Heart is They Tell Me".

"Home is where the heart is they tell me
Many, many try to travel that lonesome road
They'll never find a pal as true as mother
They'll never find a place as sweet as home"
