Born and raised in Carolina tobacco country. Pipe smoker off and on for 23 years, started exploring tobaccos in earnest 12 years ago, returned after hiatus caused by marriage and children. In beautiful Maine now, not too different from the foothills at the steps of the Appalachins of NC, though I do miss the smell of curing tobacco in general air of the region.
