    DIY Pipe Cabinet

The room it will be in is fairly dark unless lights are on so using just a normal glass panel. If I ever make another I will remember that Museam glass. Also the this is just sanding on antique red oak. I thought about staining but kind of like the unfinished look. I think I just need to...

    A little more done! Not bad for first attempt, but if I ever make another I learned a few things. </p> <p><a href="https://ibb.co/bMXQhJ"><img src="https://preview.ibb.co/jp4Gpy/C82_A84_D3_B17_C_49_AB_9_BAA_BE5_D92699465.jpg" alt="C82_A84_D3_B17_C_49_AB_9_BAA_BE5_D92699465" /></a></p> <p>

    DIY Pipe Cabinet

The small rack I made I used dremel with coned sanding bit and burnt them in. Gave a nice color after a little sanding. Projects like this make me miss high school shop classes. We had everything I could want for building stuff. I get by ok with the limits of my garage shop. I just say it has...

    DIY Pipe Cabinet

Yes carilinachurchwarden I left the top for church wardens and bottom two are for regular length pipes. The bases is done with 1” spade bit as that is what I had. If I had it too do over I would have used a different bit. My plan is while sanding using dremel to sand centers down so they bit...

    DIY Pipe Cabinet

Well I made some progress finally. Still need some sanding, finish, hardware, back, and glass. Oh and of course pipes. <a href="https://ibb.co/c3Nq5J"><img src="https://preview.ibb.co/kmLckJ/CA55_EB77_893_E_4_BD1_9953_C36_FF0_BF77_C5.jpg" alt="CA55_EB77_893_E_4_BD1_9953_C36_FF0_BF77_C5" /></a>

Belgian Tobacco and Pipe Brand Recommendations

There is a Peterson store in Dublin Ohio?I also agree with you I much more enjoy my pipe smoking g than the cigars and do find it cheaper per smoke if you don’t account for the pipe collection bug. I find the pipe to be much more relaxing and peaceful.

Belgian Tobacco and Pipe Brand Recommendations

Thanks, I will probably just get a little each trip I take there this year for work. And for the pipe I’ll talk to the tobacconist and try to find something that will remind me of my visit that I can enjoy back home. Thanks everyone for the advice. I am new to pipe tobacco(other than...

Belgian Tobacco and Pipe Brand Recommendations

So I’m going to be traveling to Belgium and would like some recommendations on pipes and tobacco to look at bringing home. I am hoping to do this at each country I travel too. This would help my pipe collection as well as experiencing some tobacco I might never get otherwise. Look forward to...

    DIY Pipe Cabinet

Demo is as much fun as building it. I made a rack out of scrap but wife can smell pipes drying so decided to try a cabinet. She doesn’t mind while I smoke she doesn’t like the after smell.

    DIY Pipe Cabinet

Yes the wood is white oak reclaimed from an old fireplace surround. I was lucky to borrow my neighbors planer to get the board to the thickness I wanted. One day I’ll end up buying one but for now it is nice to have good neighbors. I always try to reclaim wood somehow since going back to our...

    DIY Pipe Cabinet

Thanks, yes DIY is always the way to go. I don’t have all the tools I would like but I can make due since I’m making it for myself. I can deal with any slight imperfections and later in life when I get more tools and pipes. Then I can make a floor unit with drawers for tobacco. I just finished...

    DIY Pipe Cabinet

So I started a pipe cabinet project today. I don’t have many pipes yet but it will hold 42 when it is done. So guess gives me an excuse to buy more eventually. The wood I salvaged from an antique fireplace. I have cut all boards to size but still need to sand, route edges, and put it all...

    Missouri Meerschaum Grab Bag

I need to order a set of these soon. I’ve never smoked out of a cob before and could use a few pipes for using fishing, camping, and the workshop. Seems like a good way to expand your rotation.
