Joy Of Knowing The Prior Owner Of Your Estate Pipe

I don’t know who the owner’s of this pipe were, but I thought it pretty cool that 4 people signed their names on the case. The first to do so in 1887 the last in the 2000’s (crossed out) I’ll never get to meet them, but I think about them every time I look at it.

Do You Have that One Special Pipe?

For me it’s a birth year Dunhill. A group 4 billiard with a saddle bit. You know the pipe you buy where the seller tells you everything that’s wrong with it because there is a lot wrong with it. Crazing inside the bowl, a bit out of round etc... when I smoked it I could only see everything that...

    Any Homebrewers?

As Anonymous said I love brewing but there are so many local breweries out there I haven’t brewed in a while. I have tried my hand at wine making and enjoyed that. I would love to give mead making try.

    Who Is/Was Your Pipe Mentor?

My oldest brother. Years ago he smoke Balkan Sobraine and I would love to razz him about the smell, but I always loved it. He told me “you’ll be a pipe smoker” and I would tell him he was crazy. One day I walked into a B&M and bought a pipe and some Capt Black. When I told him he gifted me a...

    Long Island Pipe Club

@Mysticpiper My wife barely tolerates my pipe smoking. She is always telling me I smoke too much, but I at least have her understanding that I enjoy the hobby and it is more than just smoking a pipe... If that makes sense. @Tulsagentleman keep trying. It took a few years of trying to find some...
