    Favorite Borderline Aromatics?

I like that one as well. And as I can remember, so did my wife. Or at least she didn’t oppose me smoking it in the dining room after dinner when the kids ran off into the yard, or when watching a movie on the couch.

    Favorite Borderline Aromatics?

No need, I think the Gawith/Hoggarth blends mentioned sound like they might do the trick. I doubt anything they have with any added flavors will be light enough on the topping to suit me.

    There’s a thought…

    Favorite Borderline Aromatics?

I’m in the same boat as you BriaronBoerum. My situation is a little different though… I exclusively smoke two pipes of Newminster 400 SNF each day: One on my hour drive to work, and again on my way home. I’m wanting to smoke inside more… in the morning before I leave for work, winding down in...

    Favorite Borderline Aromatics?

Didn’t Country Squire have that “White Rose Blend”? White tea and rose added into a burley/cav blend. Actually though I was going to like it, but it was pretty weak.

Has Newminster 400 officially been discontinued? I was at my local B&M for a random stop and he said that Sutliff and MacB had been shut down (or would soon be). Didn’t get a clear answer though on the Newminster 400

***What Are You Smoking, October 2024?***

Noon-day smoke at work! I’ve got MB Golden Extra burley in the Dominique Signature bent egg/fat brandy pipe. Here’s to another 4 hours of work before heading home!

    One-Off Ashtray I Made

The ashtray was for a Christian charity and Christian biker club, so I thought it fitting to do a cross, which is what the design is. As far as dimensions go, the rail/horizontal portion is 7” across, and the stile/vertical portion is 10” tall. The width of both sections was 3”, and each...

    One-Off Ashtray I Made

I’m a carpenter/remodeling contractor by trade, but rarely put my woodworking tools to use for making much other than cabinets, vanities, custom trimwork jobs, etc. However, I was approached recently to build something for a raffle/auction for a charity motorcycle ride to benefit a Christian...

***What Are You Smoking, September 2024?***

Enjoying my day off on the porch, soaking in the gorgeous weather here in the foothills of NC… mid-70’s, but feels like low 60’s under the giant pin-oak trees near our front porch. As for tobacco, I have some nicely dried Virginia No. 1 in my small chamber (and freshly restored) Kaywoodie...

    Mac Baren HH blends

HH Virginia Flake was a tobacco I fell in love with instantly, and hope to try HH Burley Flake soon, as I’m segueing into burleys.

Just arrived today: Kriswill Bernadotte 1815 BR •.78” / 19.8mm chamber diameter •2.13” / 54mm chamber depth •34g weight •unique triangular shank I’m super excited about this piece, it’s already my favorite pipe in my small collection to look at. Once I get it cleaned up, I’m sure it’ll smoke...

    Show Off Your Chimneys

I love the shank and blast too, I’ve been staring at it since I opened the mail this afternoon. I’m wary of the logo as well… it’s got a decent amount of oxidation on the stem that’ll need to be addressed: will an oxi-clean bath remove the logo paint? If so, I’ll just tape the logo and micro...
