How Do You Organize Your Tobacco Cellar?

“Smoking isn’t cool.” -me to my kid after storing/locking my jarred tobacco in a literal treasure chest with a skeleton key.

CAO Eileen’s Dream - what am I missing?

I like EMP, and i think I’ll like Maltese Falcon more with age, was a 5/10 for me out of the tin though. Glad to see I’m not alone with Eileen’s Dream. Sounds like I’ll need to give moontrance a try.

CAO Eileen’s Dream - what am I missing?

Decided this belongs here rather than the new pipe smoker thread since it’s more of a review, I suppose. But mods I’ll understand if it gets moved. Anyhow, after seeing glowing reviews online, and because if it’s on the internet it must be true, I decided to pick up Eileen’s Dream a few months...

Tobacco type vs pipe type, a beginner question

Is there a consensus somewhere on which types of pipes smoke certain tobaccos best? I’m not talking about individual tins, but more a broader sense, an “everyone agrees bend billiards are the way to go with va/pers, while church wardens can’t be beat for aromatics” type deal. If it exists.

Aromatics are Not for the Pipe-Smoker

So I hadn’t posted since my first after signing up where, as a new pipe smoker, I posted a list of newbie reviews of the tobacco I’d smoked. It’s funny I came across this. With the exception of Cult Blood Red Moon, I just don’t taste (or even smell) the aromatics in the aromatic tobacco I’ve...

New to pipes and tried a few different tins. Seeking advice and also sharing my amateurish reviews

Oh I gotcha. Still coming from the cigar world where that might mean “smoke after a steak dinner.” Appreciate it!

New to pipes and tried a few different tins. Seeking advice and also sharing my amateurish reviews

Oof - I saw CBRM may have been discontinued on a few threads from years ago, so figured that since I had been still finding it that it must’ve gotten rescued. Any idea what’s going on there? Also, any good substitutes? What do you recommend eating beforehand to avoid the nicotine knockout...

New to pipes and tried a few different tins. Seeking advice and also sharing my amateurish reviews

Hello. I’ve just recently within the last few months started smoking pipes. Didn’t have much to go off of at first aside from what the guy at my local tobacco (mainly cigar-focused) store advised, but I’ve since done a bit of research and would like to share a newbie’s snippet of tobacco...
