    MM Special Edition Email

I received this email from MM today: The newest release for our 155th Anniversary Year #2 Release 155th Special Edition Set What makes these pipes so special you ask? Each pipe in the set has a genuine, antique bone bit that was most likely made in our bone products factory. I...

    Italian Pipes: Just my Style?

Could be in your head🙂 but all but one of my Italian pipes have a fairly open draw and I think that smokes better for my smoking tendencies. I def notice the tighter draw on the one that is a little restricted. Hearing what’s in your collection—-sounds like you’re crazy about pipes like the rest...

    Ser Jacopo Delecta

Delecta is just a stylistic option. I believe it refers primarily to the shape of an accent on the end of the shank. Not all delecta pipes have silver. If you’re leaning towards a Ser Jacopo pipe and have never smoked one I think you’ll be pleased. Most of my SJs have a pretty open draw so...

    Pipes Are Great

Pipes offer an enormous variety of tobacco to smoke. Your pipe(s) is a tool and an artistic piece. I enjoy looking at pipes, holding pipes and obviously smoking them. I like that pipe smoking is a skill that you acquire and develop. Yes. Pipes are great.

    1st Experience With AlPascia

I am very impressed with their shipping. I purchased another SJ from them in January. I believe I bought it Sat night and it was on my porch on Wednesday. That’s pretty great for $11 shipping. I feel like their pricing on Ser Jacopo pipes is really good and for some reason pipes tend to stick...

It Took 2 Years To Find This Bully

I do not. I could be wrong but I’m not familiar with a really useful way to date Ser Jacopos. It is from their “Compta” series which was introduced in ‘97 and consists of more typical “classic” shapes with a silver accent.

It Took 2 Years To Find This Bully

Up until this past year I’d never had a bulldog. I decided about 2 years ago that I wanted to add one to my collection. I set myself a few requirements. 1. Ser Jacopo. 2. Couldn’t be HUGE. 3. Smooth finish. 4. Silver accent. 5. It had to be an estate. I checked SP.com 2x week for about 2 years...
