Stem Screws On Too Far . . .
I have a meerschaum and the stem screws on. But to get it tight*, it rotates too far and the bit is sideways. I cant seem to get it any other way, no matter how I adjust the screw insert. The stem is loose* if I keep it oriented the right direction. * by tight above, I mean snug, not really...- serkazong

As a few of you know, I'm newbish to pipe smoking. How important is it to smoke only one tobacco type in one pipe? Is it different for clay, briar, corncob types? I think I'm getting the flavor of my last tobacco smoked when I smoke now. I have 5 pipes so I'm trying to only smoke one type...- serkazong
