    What Were Your Go-To Tobacco’s in 2025?

Not a particular blend, but a family of leaf, red Virginia blends were my go to’s for this year.

Not Looking Likely That Seattle Pipe Club Will Be Back On The Market?

Some folks have purchased a noodle press from Amazon and had good results. I made one from a 2” ID PVC coupling, wooden spacer disks, parchment paper and C-clamps and had great success. You should be able to Google that DIY to get the full rundown. I also made a rectangular press that takes...

    Oklahoma Pipe Club

It was great to see familiar faces last night and catching up with others we hadn’t seen for a long time. This was our last meeting for 2025, a Christmas one at that. I shared with everyone there some 2003 MC Christmas Cheer along with some Lagavulin Offerman Rum Cask edition Scotch. Finally, I...

Which no longer produced tobacco blend do you or will you miss the most?

Not necessarily a blend but more blending stock, I miss Sutliff’s RC-515. I use it for my personal home blends as a base Virginia. I have a limited amount now and trying to save that as best as possible. Second is a blend and that is Sutliff’s Cringle Flake. I enjoyed getting the various yearly...

What is your Favorite Christmas Blend?

Essentially yes. Tins can still be found on auction sites, consignment, or here sometimes. But yeah, when Sutliff closed their doors, Cringle Flake went away too.

What is your Favorite Christmas Blend?

When they were still around, I looked forward to Sutliff’s Cringle Flake releases each year. They were good blends to smoke any time of the year too. Missed seeing something like that released for this Christmas.

It’s great hearing back from you! Hope all is well. Enjoy your teaching time at the dojang. Whenever you are available for the second Wednesday of the month we’ll be there. Stay safe my friend and hope you can swing by again even if it’s just to say a quick hello.

    Oklahoma Pipe Club

Good morning to all! Hope everyone had a restful weekend! Personally, I’m looking forward to this week. Tomorrow is Veterans Day. A big thank you to all who served. This upcoming weekend is the Texas Pipe Show and I plan to attend that. Finally, this Wednesday, November 12th, is our monthly pipe...
